One of the first steps in building a great sales funnel is creating great content for your target market.  Compelling, useful content that your target audience needs and wants.

In order to do this,  you need to identify who your buyers are.  Who are they?  What are their goals and values?  What are their challenges and pain points?  How does your products/services speak to their needs?  Where do they hang out?

Knowing the answers to these questions and many more will enable you to craft messages and create content that is both relevant and valuable to them.

We call these “Buyer Personas” or “Avatars”.  This is an important step in your research.  Before you start creating content, be sure you know who it is you are speaking to.  Depending on your business, you may have more than one buyer persona.  Fill out a buyer persona worksheet for each one of your target audience personalities.
